Shane Burgman spent 10 years in the Navy, six of them underwater on submarines. That kind of service teaches you something you don't forget: the people who serve, and the families who hold things together while they do, carry a weight most people never see. When you get out of the military, that doesn't go away. You just start looking for new ways to show up for them.
Pumpkin Palooza started small, just an event to bring the community together in the fall. But every year it grew. More families, more involvement, more money raised for organizations like Honor Flight. At a certain point it was bigger than a one-off event run out of the business. It needed its own name, its own mission, and a real structure behind it.
That's the Bravo Foundation. It's what happens when something you do because it feels right turns into something you build on purpose.
The Bravo Foundation, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation dedicated to charitable and educational activities that benefit veterans, families, and the local community in Florida. We're based in Rockledge, right here on the Space Coast.
To serve those who serve others by organizing impactful community events, supporting veteran programs, and raising funds for causes that uplift the Space Coast community.
We don't just talk about giving back. We show up. Every event, every raffle, every pumpkin sold goes directly to organizations like Honor Flight and other local heroes making a difference.
Veterans, military families, and the local community in Florida.
The Bravo Foundation was officially formed on October 14, 2025.
The Bravo Foundation is its own nonprofit organization, separate from The Burgman Group. But it didn't come from nowhere. It grew out of Pumpkin Palooza, an event The Burgman Group built to bring the community together and support local veterans. As that event grew, so did the need for something built specifically to carry that mission forward. The Burgman Group remains a proud supporter of the Foundation, but the Bravo Foundation now stands on its own its own purpose.
